I only had Ollie for around 4 years and the time flew. Unfortunately he was only 12 when we had to have him put to sleep earlier this year.
He had numerous health issues throughout our time together and we fought to the end but unfortunately his hind legs were unforgiving and we had to make the decision whilst he still had his dignity.
He had the biggest jump and was so so clever - sometimes this didn't help when he made decisions for us but he was a superstar and one of a kind. The type of horse I will never have the opportunity to own again.
Ollie was a very quirky horse and not to everyone's taste but that made us love him more! He had the biggest personality and temper also at times, however I promised we would give him every chance and he would never be sold on or pushed too hard again. That is what we truly believed caused his health issues as a young horse.
I held my promise and stood by what I believe in and that is now what is allowing him to run pain free and no longer with any stress or worry.
This decision broke our hearts and I will never fill the hole he has left in our family but my necklace that Tail End Jewellery made is comforting to know he is with me whenever I wear it.
Our next order will be a tassel keyring so that he can be put on the horsebox keys and travel wherever we go!
